‘Till The World Ends’ hitmaker Britney Spears has described herself as “less fearless” in a new interview.
During a chat with Vegas magazine’s Winter 2014 issue, the pop megastar explained that while she’s ‘older and wiser’ she is definitely more cautious now after growing up in the industry and knowing what the darker side can be like:
“I’m older, obviously, and I think I’m probably a little bit wiser, but I’m way less fearless.”
Spears also opened up about balancing being a mother with her hectic Las Vegas ‘Piece of Me’ residency schedule, adding: “It’s a gruelling schedule.I think I’ll be able to live a normal life with my kids. I will have some nights where I’ll come back to L.A. after the show and some when I’ll stay over in Las Vegas.”
“When I’m being a mom, I’m mom all the way. I’m worried all the time and always thinking about what we should be doing and should not be doing. But when I am onstage, it’s like my therapy time. I get to be this person that I’m really not. It’s a way to get out of my own head and have some fun.”
It was announced earlier this week that Spears’ Vegas residency is the top-selling residency of the year so far.

I definitely feel that way. I look back at the chances I took, how certain and headstrong I was in interviews, and now feel that I now can second guess myself or have doubts. I think it comes with a little wisdom and self-awareness. Sometimes I wish I was the way I was in my late teens, early twenties and sometimes not.
