Some people recognise themselves easily in a song. Others live between several versions of who they are. “You Are Time” appears written for the second group. Throughout the track, Osinaël examines opposing impulses: to move closer or step away, to trust or remain alert, to surrender or protect one’s identity. These forces are not treated as weaknesses. They are presented as natural parts of emotional life.
The recurring question, “Are you the wolf or reason?”, captures this instability. The wolf can represent instinct, danger, freedom or desire. Reason may offer protection, but it can also create distance. Neither image is given a single fixed meaning.
That ambiguity allows the song to remain open. Different listeners may hear different stories depending on their own experiences. Osinaël does not ask the audience to choose one permanent identity.

Her writing suggests that people change according to circumstances, relationships and time. We may be wise in one moment and reckless in another. In this way, “You Are Time” becomes less about finding the correct label than about accepting human complexity.
